Relaxing sleep. Without a good nights sleep it is not possible to function well. We all know the problems associated with a lack of sleep or poor quality sleep. A headboard is defined as a piece of furniture that is attached to the head of a bed. Traditionally a headboard was used to isolate the sleeper from drafts and cold walls. The headboard would leave space between the bed and the wall and allow the cold air to sink to the floor. If the bed was pushed against the wall then the cold air would settle on the bed making the sleeper uncomfortable. Headboards were made out of wood because wood becomes less cold than bricks or stones.
